Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Add the dry ingredients. Drop 4 tablespoons of flour directly into your mug. Add 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of ube powder, and ¼ teaspoon of baking powder on top.

Step 3: Add the milk. Pour in 6 tablespoons of milk. Any milk works — whole milk gives the richest result, but oat milk and coconut milk are excellent dairy-free options.

Step 4: Mix until smooth. Stir vigorously with the fork until you have a thick, smooth, deep purple batter. Make sure to scrape the bottom of the mug so no dry flour hides underneath. The batter should be glossy and evenly colored.
Step 5: Microwave. Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for 60 to 90 seconds. The exact time depends on your microwave wattage — 60 seconds for a 1000W microwave, up to 90 seconds for a 700W model.
